Vishant Sharma

Vishant Sharma is a Director of the Quantitative Specialist Group with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He manages a team of quantitative specialists to conduct model specific reviews and model risk management (MRM) examinations at large institutions. Vishant also serves as the lead of the Capital Review Team for Principle 6, where is responsible for providing horizontal analysis and perspective across the Federal Reserve System on the bank holding companies Capital Planning and Stress Testing internal controls (audit, validation, etc.) of all CCAR firms. He is a member of the leadership team at the Board of Governors that is responsible for the oversight of the System’s implementation and assessments of the Federal Reserve’s Supervisory Guidance on Model Risk Management (SR 11-7). In his prior roles at the FRB of Atlanta he has also lead a coordinated review on MRM for 21 Large Banking Organizations and served as the Examiner In Charge for CCAR of a large and complex international organization.
