Bojan Cukic

Dr. Bojan Cukic is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He also serves as the Interim Executive Director of the Data Science Initiative. Bojan is a software engineer with more than 20 years of experience in R&D. His work has been supported by the National Science Foundation, NASA, Department of Defense, Department of Justice, and private industry. He co-founded NexID Biometrics, LLC, to commercialize spoof mitigation software for biometric systems. The company was acquired by precise Biometrics in 2017. He received MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the University of Houston.
