John Williams
Research Engineer, UNC Charlotte
John Williams began his career as a Research Assistant in Professor Dan Janies’ lab while studying as an undergraduate at UNC Charlotte. In this role he curated a database of venom-encoding genes that could be explored through a conjoined web application. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2016, John began working under Professor Janies full-time as a Research Engineer and now develops a variety of web applications intended to analyze the genetic sequence data of pathogens.
