Leonard Fishman

Len Fishman leads business development at Public Benefit Corporation and Certified B-Corp, data.world. Launched in 2016, data.world’s mission is to build the world’s most collaborative, abundant, and meaningful data resource. Before joining data.world, he was co-founder of two ventures. The first, pledge4good, was a social fundraising platform that he founded while completing his MBA and that was acquired in 2012. More recently, he founded and led a big data company serving investment funds called Uniqueio. Len has been a speaker at many events including the White House Open Data Summit as well as the OECD’s Global Science Forum Project on Sustainable Business Models for Data Repositories and recently he moderated a panel at Federal Data in Action Day featuring the Chief Architect of data.gov and the Creators of the DoD’s data.mil. Len earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Duke University.
