Nancy Fey-Yensan, Ph.D., R.D.
Dr. Nancy Fey-Yensan serves as the Dean of The College of Health and Human Services at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
A nutrition scientist by training, she received her Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut and maintains her credential as a Registered Dietitian. Dr. Fey-Yensan has been a practicing community nutritionist for over 38 years. Her research and outreach interests, focused on health disparities, populations living in poverty, obesity prevention and gerontological nutrition, have been supported by more than $9 million in external funds.
She has particular interests in creating community/industry/university partnerships and new interdisciplinary opportunities for faculty and students. Founded on the principles of a strong ethic of public engagement, she is proud to promote the College of Health and Human Services as a ready and able partner in supporting entrepreneurship in the health arena to ensure optimal health for all.
