Nirav Shah

Dr. Nirav Shah is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Oral Medicine department at the Carolinas Medical center, Charlotte. He has received his Master’s in Bioinformatics from India and PhD in molecular virology and cancer biology from UNC Charlotte. Dr. Shah has also worked on breast cancer laboratory as a Post-doctoral fellow at the University of South Carolina, Columbia.

He currently works at the oral medicine department in CMC on the text mining and gene expression meta-analysis approaches to find biomarkers of Sjögren’s syndrome along with other similar auto-immune diseases. Dr. Shah has published several high impact publications in various top journals of respective areas. He is also an editorial member of several journals.
