Orion Stallard is engaged in data analytics, inspired by trends in technology, and very busy. He believes that the vision of a technologically connected world he once held as a child has finally arrived and is constantly scanning the horizon and seeking to improve his own awareness around these trends. He’s extremely passionate about one simple question, “what’s next?” Orion is currently full time with Wells Fargo’s Private Mortgage Banking division, a full time Data Sciences and Business Analytics student at UNCC, and a full time dad and family man.

Some of Orion’s proudest achievements include a business case for a novel lending program that he researched and presented to executives at BB&T which then became a product offering under BB&T’s Wealth division. In 2012 Orion presented research to Freddie Mac executives, which helped to define HARP policy and potentially affected hundreds of thousands of homeowners. Orion has founded and presided over a professional networking organization with the participation of more than 50 companies who have exchanged millions of dollars in referral business over the past eight years. Orion has further refined the success of his networking organization into a mobile app design that models the organization’s key features and attributes.

Since completing his MBA at Portland State University in 2003 Orion has taken a path of continuous self- improvement hallmarked by achievements in leadership, project work, and business development primarily in banking and finance. Orion has had the privilege to work with people from ground floor to the C Suite and all points in between. But no matter what Orion is in the middle of when you see him, he’s never too busy to stop for a smile and to find out what inspires you.
