Samir Pawar

Samir Pawar is Senior Data Scientist in Chief Data Scientist Organization. Samir has been leading the design and development effort of Information Products within CDSO. He also works on various analytics projects using transactional data in support of revenue generation and risk mitigation across various lines of business.Samir has over 20 years of experience in various industries like Healthcare, Telecommunications and Financial Services. He joined Bank of America in 2005 where he worked in Marketing Analytics for 3 years. He then worked in Enterprise Risk Analytics team for 3 years before joining the CDSO team. Samir holds BS (Physics/Mathematics/Statistics) and MS (Computer Technology) from University of Bombay.

Samir resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife and 12 year old son. He is very active within the community. He volunteers as coach for First Lego League Robotics team for elementary and middle school kids. He volunteers as Math Tutor at a local school through an organization called Heart Math Tutoring.
